What is Romania hiding among its majestic mountain ranges and across the plains of Transylvania? Now that this former communist country has opened up to the world, you can discover its hidden treasures for yourself.

First and foremost, Romania offers breathtaking natural beauty: majestic mountains and vast forests that are home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, as well as pristine rivers, waterfalls, and caves. Guided by Saskia Bosman’s deeply relaxing meditations and our group sharing sessions, you will explore your own inner nature, reflected in the nature that surrounds you.

On the cultural level, you will experience the vibrant life of Romanian cities and villages—from colorful markets and traditional and contemporary music to outdoor dancing and perhaps (indoor) opera. Throughout the country, you will encounter a remarkable variety of churches, each with its own character and history.

You can also experience Romania’s history in abandoned industrial sites, restaurants, and cafés that evoke memories of the communist era. Then there are the much more ancient fortresses of the Dacians, a mysterious people who seem to have disappeared without a trace. Where did they go? And deep beneath the earth lies a vast salt mine, revealing layers of sediment tens of meters thick—remnants of an ancient ocean that vanished millions of years ago.

Romania is also a land of mystery

You may have heard of the seven books by Romanian author Radu Cinamar, whether you have read them or not. Cinamar describes himself as a diplomat who became involved in the discovery of underground spaces in Romania—from holographic libraries and inhabited subterranean cities to Inner Earth: a vast, hollow space within our planet that, according to his accounts, can be accessed from various locations around the world, including Romania. He also connects these realms with the legendary Shambhala, known from Tibetan tradition.

According to Radu Cinamar, the Dacians still live in some of these underground cities. Physical entrances to these mysterious spaces are difficult to find, but the energy associated with certain locations is said to allow us to enter them energetically and through consciousness. During the journey, we will explore these possibilities through guided inner journeys and meditations.
